Michael Grammatico

PRESIDENT

Michael Grammatico is an alumnus of SUNY Geneseo, having graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from the John Wiley Jones School of Business in 1987. Mike has served on various boards, including The Salvation Advisory Board, Genesee/Wyoming Family YMCA Board and Trustees, the Jerome Foundation, Genesee Mercy Health Care Foundation and The New York State YMCA Funds Inc. Board and Trustees. Lifelong residents of Western New York, Mike and his wife Sarah currently reside in Batavia. They have three sons: Christopher, Tommy, and Luke.

Appreciating all our country has to offer, and the Veterans who have protected our freedoms, Mike is proud to support Eagle Star Housing assist Veterans seeking transitional housing.


Daniel Loughran

VICE PRESIDENT

Daniel Loughran, CFA, was involved in the investment industry for more than 29 years, most recently serving as Senior Portfolio Manager and leader of OppenheimerFunds Rochester municipal investment team before retiring in 2016. While at Oppenheimerfunds, Mr. Loughran oversaw a team of 18 investment professionals managing 20 municipal bond funds. Prior to joining OppenheimerFunds in 1994, Mr. Loughran was employed in New York City by Morgan Stanley & Company and Bank of America. He has received an M.B.A. in Finance from Pace University and has a B.S. in Management Science with a concentration in Finance from the State University of New York at Geneseo. Possessing a Chartered Financial Analyst designation since 1996, he is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Rochester. He is a volunteer in a variety of functions for SUNY Geneseo, The Perinton Food Shelf, Church of the Assumption, and the United Way of Rochester.


Matt McAlpin

TREASURER

Matt graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a BS in Business Administration with a dual concentration in Management and Marketing. While earning his degree, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. and served as a reservist. After beginning his career in the home mortgage industry for 5 years, Matt joined McAlpin Industries in 2010 and represents the 3rd generation of ownership. Matt’s corporate expertise centers around Sales, Marketing, Estimating, Technical Sales Engineering and Customer Service.


Robert Lamb

SECRETARY

Rob concentrates his practice on issues that involve estate planning, administration and elder law. A substantial part of Rob’s practice involves working with individuals and families to develop customized plans that help protect assets from the costs associated with long-term care and Medicaid through the use of irrevocable trusts, promissory note & gift strategies, caregiver’s agreements, and supplemental needs trusts for disabled children. He is also an experienced litigator and has fought for his clients on a wide variety of cases involving estate and civil litigation as well as criminal defense.


Keith Roth

Board Member

Mr. Roth has been an Allstate agency owner for 20 years serving my local community. He proudly serves on the board of Eagle Star to be able to help a veteran in need. They protected our freedoms and I want to try to protect them and get them back on track in life. This is very fulfilling to me to know that I can make a difference in a veterans life.


Justin Hept

Board Member

Justin Hept Current President of Innovation Builders Inc., a commercial wood framing company. Hept served in the United States Marine Corps as a Radio Operator from 2001-2005 when he was honorably discharged. In 2005 he entered into the construction industry, utilizing the Helmets to Hardhats program.

It is truly honor to be part of an organization that works hard day in and day out providing the needs to the men and women who have sacrificed so much for their country.”


Kelly Adler

Board Member

Kelly graduated from Ithaca College with a B.S in Athletic Training, followed by completion of her M.Ed. in Kinesiology/Sports Medicine at the University of Virginia. She currently works for UR Medicine in the Department of Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation as the Hip Preservation Program Coordinator. Kelly serves as a Junior Board Member for the Pluta Cancer Center Foundation, as well as Vice President for Shawn's Heroes for Life, a local 501(c)3 organization that assists Veterans in-need and raises awareness for organ donation. Kelly has personally and professionally experienced the positive impact community involvement can have on Veterans' lives. She is proud to be able to further enhance the lives of Veterans through her commitment to Eagle Star. 


Peter Feltner

Board Member

Peter Feltner is the President of The Feltner Group, an independent insurance agency located in Upstate NY. Additionally, he is President of Empire Spectrum LLC, which aids independent insurance agents with group buying and partnerships. Peter is excited to support Eagle Star Housing and is proud to take part in their mission.
